Sew Merry Scrap Block
This simple sixteen-patch block is so much fun to make! Just by changing the colors, the color placement, or both can change the entire look of this block. It also works so well with all holidays and seasons.

2025 Habits: April Update
Since my last update in March, I have been working on some projects (but not overdoing it); setting some goals and re-establishing some healthy habits; and getting back on track. Spring is definitely springing in my part of the world. Here are a few photos from the past month.

2025 Habits: March Update
Oh, what a month! I am still struggling with Shingles. Sigh. Yes, still. I am on another round of antivirals, and I have good days and bad days. Needless to say, I am still not where I want to be, but I am better than I was, so that’s good. It has definitely taught me about patience and made me slow down some. Maybe that is what I needed to do anyway, right?

2025 Habits: February Update
It has been a slow month as I am recovering from a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I did manage to accomplish some things, thank goodness! I took down my sewing room tree (so sad to see it go), we worked on a puzzle, hung out with my best girl Daisy, organized my fabric and even tried my hand at wool appliqué.

Ohio Star Quilt Block Tutorial
In this tutorial, I will take you step-by-step through the process of creating a super easy (and amazing!) quilted table runner using 2.5" fabric strips, either scraps, leftover jelly roll strips, or jelly roll precuts. While making this project, I will show you some tips and tricks to help you with it. The fast strip-piecing construction is perfect for all levels of quilters, including beginners.

2024 Habits: October Update
Happy October! My 2024 quilting goals or habit or whatever you want to call them are coming along nicely. It is true when they say habits take practice. I am so pleased with the progress I have made this year. I hope this inspires you to keep up with your goals, too.

2024 Habits: September Update
Happy September! This month, I’m sharing my progress on keeping my cutting table clear (it’s a challenge, but so worth it!), finishing those WIP, and focusing on healthy quilting habits to keep my mind and body in top shape while I work. I will give a FMQ update and talk about how I have connected with the quilting community. Let's dive in!
