September brought a wonderful mix of family visits, yard sale treasures, and major finishes to the sewing room! From Mitchell stopping by for ten days of mahjong and block layout help to scoring a stunning antique crazy quilt, it was a memorable month for making. Plus, I’m sharing how I did on my 2026 quilting habits—including finally finishing a pineapple quilt top that’s been waiting 10 years for its final touches, a cozy update on Daisy, and a sneak peek at a new design! I’m finally back with a new Quilting Habit Update! I took a nice, relaxing break from making videos, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been sitting around doing nothing. 😂 There’s been a LOT happening behind the scenes, including a new quilt pattern, happy mail, fresh flowers, quilt tops heading to the longarmer, and some very exciting projects I can’t tell you about quite yet. There are lots of fun quilty things coming this fall, so stay tuned!
