January Quilting Goals Update
Even with the slower pace, I’ve actually been doing really well with my habits and goals, and I had some fun highlights along the way. From trying something totally new with a barn quilt painting class, to a little sewing room upgrade thanks to my wonderful husband, to celebrating my birthday month with a very exciting new serger—January definitely delivered some bright spots.
2026 Quilting Goals
Let’s set some goals for 2026! Just like 2024 and 2025, I have set five quilting habits and goals to tackle during the year. This helps keep me on track by having accountability and hopefully inspires you to set some goals, track them, and ultimately improve your own quilting life.
2025 Habits: March Update
Oh, what a month! I am still struggling with Shingles. Sigh. Yes, still. I am on another round of antivirals, and I have good days and bad days. Needless to say, I am still not where I want to be, but I am better than I was, so that’s good. It has definitely taught me about patience and made me slow down some. Maybe that is what I needed to do anyway, right?
2025 Habits: February Update
It has been a slow month as I am recovering from a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I did manage to accomplish some things, thank goodness! I took down my sewing room tree (so sad to see it go), we worked on a puzzle, hung out with my best girl Daisy, organized my fabric and even tried my hand at wool appliqué.
2025 Quilting Goals
At the close of each year, I take time to reflect on the highlights, challenges, and lessons learned. This process gives me clarity on where changes are needed, areas for growth, and what I should release or leave behind. While countless things could fit into these categories, here are the top habits I’m committed to cultivating in 2025!
