A three-day quilt retreat, 113 cataloged quilts, and a massive walking-foot quilting breakthrough! May was a highly productive (and beautifully messy) month for my quilting habits. Read the full update to see how the goals held up, what had to be seam-ripped, and how close I am to finishing a major modern block challenge.
April Quilting Goals Update
April brought springtime joy, steady quilting progress, and a few personal updates along the way. From Daisy’s recovery to hitting the halfway mark on my Tula Pink blocks and celebrating 7 million views, it’s been a full and memorable month.
March Quilting Goals Update
March means more sunshine, and I am here for it! Let’s dig in and see how I did on each of my quilting habits in March.
February Quilting Goals Update
February really is a great month to quilt, isn't it? It is cold, it is stormy, and it is the heart of quilting season! This month, I did great at some of my goals and struggled with others. Come along and see how I progressed (or didn't) in this month's quilting habits and goals.
January Quilting Goals Update
Even with the slower pace, I’ve actually been doing really well with my habits and goals, and I had some fun highlights along the way. From trying something totally new with a barn quilt painting class, to a little sewing room upgrade thanks to my wonderful husband, to celebrating my birthday month with a very exciting new serger—January definitely delivered some bright spots.
2026 Quilting Goals
Let’s set some goals for 2026! Just like 2024 and 2025, I have set five quilting habits and goals to tackle during the year. This helps keep me on track by having accountability and hopefully inspires you to set some goals, track them, and ultimately improve your own quilting life.
Setting Quilting Habits & Goals
This blog is a deeper look at that journey. Here, I share the actual quilting goals I set each year, how I create them, and the habits that help me follow through—without burnout or guilt. My hope is that by sharing what I’ve learned, you’ll feel inspired and equipped to set your own quilting goals and create habits that truly fit your life and creative style.
